Paul Lochore is the Managing Director of Lochore’s Real Estate in Birkenhead. He has over 46 years experience in real estate.
Paul inherited his passion for property from his parents who owned RF Lochore’s, a real estate business in Wellington’s eastern suburbs. He joined the family business at the age of 19 and has worked for himself ever since, taking over the running of the business at the age of 23.
After 15 years in the industry Paul relocated from Wellington to Auckland, starting the award-winning Lochore’s Real Estate from the ground up on the North Shore, which currently operates with a staff of over 40.
In 1985 Lochore’s Real Estate joined the Professionals Group. During this time Paul has been a Director of the group and served as the Chairman from 1995 to 2002.
In 2003 Paul was honoured with the Australasian Real Estate Agency Best Practice Award, which is presented annually to an Australian or New Zealand agency principal.
The award recognises a broad range of achievements covering business success, commitment to employee development, customer service, service to the industry, and contribution to the community. Paul was the first New Zealand recipient to win the award – a fantastic accomplishment.
Paul is well known in the local community, having served on school boards, the Birkenhead Licensing Trust, Birkenhead Council and the North Shore Hospital Foundation Board.
